SOETalk is an outlet for JHU SOE students to share their experiences as adult students in the classroom, internships and field work, their challenges and successes as students and working professionals, and their favorite places to eat and shop. The average age of the SOE student is 33 years old. 74% of these students are women and 26% are men. Their experiences are unique because many students have the added pressure of working full-time and taking care of a family. All SOE programs are represented by student blog writers and faculty, staff, and additional students are featured as guest writers.
